We are the UK importers for Roberts Carriages of Québec, Canada. One of the worlds largest horse drawn carriage manufacturers, producing over two thousand carriages per year.

We currently hold up to twenty carriages in stock at any given time, or you can order your carriage custom made to your specifications.

Maple Leaf Carriages is a small family run business based in East Sussex.

We are the sole UK importers of these carriages, and regularly receive large shipments directly from the manufacturer in Canada to reduce the lead time for our customers and make the purchasing process as quick and smooth as possible.

It can be set up for single or teams of */* horses, to suit horses **hh plus.

Standard features include choice of colours and upholstery, under cut *th wheel, full set of clear covers which enclose the dome, hydraulic brakes, pole kit, coachman's box and rear step.

Optional extras include shafts , handbrake, and dust covers.

Wedding Carriage Hire

Our beautifullly crafted carriage can be drawn by a single or pair of magnificent Shire Horses and will comfortably seat up to four adults. Our carriage is fully equipped for all weathers!

We pride ourselves on providing a top quality service, tailored to meet each client's indivudal requirements. We woud be delighted to have the opportunity to help make your special day truly rememberable.

Whatever your style of wedding, we have a package to suit you, both for traditional church services and civil ceremonies.

Carriages come dressed with white ribbons or a colour of your choice.

Two uniformed members of our highly experienced staff ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day.

All weddings are individually priced aoccording to mileage, distance and timings. All our staff are fully trained, hold BDS driving certificates and have full public liability insurance.

Also available are ** seat rides, dray for pub drives and picnics etc.

Traditional Farm Wagons are also available for weddings and funerals.
